Joyfully Single in a Couple's World

Is it possible to be joyfully single in a couple's world???

Dr. Sala addresses single men and women, a growing segment of society that is often taken for granted.

Here is what he wants to accomplish: “to help singles understand that they can find contentment, peace where they are right now, that they don’t have to be married to be happy…To discover where God wants them to go with their lives.” (page 3 of the book)

The book offers a practical, refreshing, and faith-centered roadmap to rejecting societal pressure and finding fulfillment right where you are.

Honest Thoughts on the Book

This is not a self-help book; Dr. Harold Sala will guide you through Bible verses and life stories to discover whether you are meant to get married or stay single. Shifting your focus from what is missing to meeting present needs with faith and inner peace.

It also discusses our love for one another, not only as couples but as family and friends. This book redefines relationships by valuing deep friendships and personal purpose.

Why this Book Matters Today

For someone in this status or situation, it can be awkward not to find books that a single person can relate to. The world is biased toward couples, but Dr. Sala states that being single does not mean 'unfulfilled'.

Regardless of our culture, whether Asian or Western, and even if you are male or female. Singles have to deal with well-meaning and intrusive comments from friends, family, and society. During family reunions, relatives often ask this disturbing question: “When are you getting married?”

We must admit that once we reach 30, our age is no longer on the calendar. Let us not give in to these pressures. Sometimes, getting married hastily might lead to negative results.

Pages for the Single Soul

This book is one-of-a-kind and timeless. It was published in 1996, but the stories cited still ring true for today’s generation. The new generation of singles is not in a hurry to get married.

I highly recommend this book to singles with Christian faith and people navigating late-onset singlehood.
