Movie Title:
"The Adam Project" (2022)
Main Characters:
The child actor (Walker Scobell) who portrayed the young Adam caught my attention. For a kid his age, he could be the younger version of the main character. Walker has the charm to be the next Ryan Reynolds of his generation. He is now the new "Percy Jackson" for Disney.
Ryan Reynolds’ acting here is just right for his character. An action hero with humor and charm in one package. Two thumbs up to him. He is the "Deadpool".
Also, Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo have great on-screen chemistry. Jennifer and Mark had a previous movie, "13 Going on 30". They are so adorable together.
Story Plot:
The main character, Adam (Ryan Reynolds), returns to the past to bring back his wife (Zoe Saldana), who went missing after an assignment. Not knowing that he might meet his past self, who was a little boy (Walker Scobell). Parallel contact with the boy he was running away from has proven to him that he is the best version of himself.
Main Theme:
The Adam Project is a Shawn Levy film about time travel, science fiction, and adventure.
It has a Father’s Day theme because Adam had closure on what happened to his dad (Mark Ruffalo). But the movie also acknowledges his mother (Jennifer Garner) silently suffering and trying to be strong for both.
