I bought this book through the kindness of my good friend and former colleague, Ms. Love B. Mejia. She attended the Mid-Week service of the company's Spiritual and Morale Development event, where Miriam Quiambao was the guest speaker. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend in person for some reason.
Interpretation:
Miriam's autobiography shares the inside story of:
- her rise to fame from a physical therapist/gym instructor to a beauty pageant contestant and
- a Bb. Pilipinas-Universe title holder.
- being a TV and movie personality and an award-winning TV host.
- her enchanting fairy tale romance and marriage to an Italian tycoon.
- and her second chances at business, career, love, and family life.
Book Application:
This autobiography of Miriam Quiambao is an inspirational story for all women.
Miriam shares that despite her many achievements and ultimate success, she still has life struggles, emotional emptiness, and depression.
Her realization is that material possessions and high status will never make anyone happy without having God in their life.
Recommendations:
I highly recommend this book because it is a testimony that will inspire and encourage everyone. Even if we make bad decisions or mistakes, we must always get up when we fall.
Most importantly, like Miriam, "we must be lifted up by a loving, gracious God."
